ABOUT TSHWANE SOUTH TVET COLLEGE COURSES
Tshwane South College for Further Education and Training (TSC) is a registered public Further Education and Training institution under the Further Education and Training Act 98 of 1998.
TSC was formed in 2001 by the amalgamation of three old Technical Colleges: Atteridgeville, Centurion, and Pretoria West (Notice 7311, Gazette No 240 of December 2001).

TSC acquired her fourth campus (Odi Campus) from Orbit FET College as a result of the reconfiguration of the Provincial borders in 2006. The fundamental mandate of TSC and her counterparts as public institutions is to indiscriminately equip South Africa’s young people with vocational and occupationally directed skills at an intermediate level of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), thereby contributing to the eradication of unemployment. South African inequality, poverty, and unemployment, as well as the country’s economic growth projects .

TSHWANE SOUTH TVET COLLEGE COURSES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
NC(V) Course Requirements;
- Students are allowed to study for a maximum of four years for NC (V) Levels 2, 3, and 4 to account for any topic failures.
- NQF1 (Grade 9) and AET Level 4 are the minimum entry criteria.
- The NC (V) policy has led and aligned the entry requirements.
For qualification admission, a point system will be used.
Report 191 Courses Requirements;
- The NATED Policy establishes minimum entry standards.
N4 will admit students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4. - Students who have completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 and choose to pursue a career as an artisan will be admitted to N1 on a point system.
Occupational Courses Requirements
- Minimum entrance requirements as per registered Skills Program/Learnership approved by QCTO/SETA
- To be eligible to apply for an Occupational Program a student who previously enrolled for NC(V) or Report 191 programs will only be considered if such a student has fully completed the NC(V) or Report 191 program (passed all subjects).
Additional Requirements for Admission
- In order to improve the quality and performance of specialized programs, the College Council has established new admission requirements for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1, and Report 191 N4 using a point system.
