ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THEKWINI TVET COLLEGE
- Learners who have achieved a Grade 12 Certificate with at least a Higher Certificate achievement should consider pursuing a National Diploma at a TVET College.
- Alternative Post-School Programs, commonly known as Report 191 (Nated) N4 – N6 Programs.
- Candidates must have completed Grade 12 in order to be considered (NSC)
- New students must enroll in all four subjects in the field.
- The number of students enrolled in these programs is limited by DHET prescriptive targets.
- Before receiving a National Diploma, students enrolled in N4-N6 programs must complete the required amount of working hours in the relevant industry field (18 months / 2000 hours for semester programs and 24 months / 2670 hours for trimester programs).

- Submit your paperwork; you will be notified of your progress through email.
- Before you apply, please read the minimal requirements.
- In the event of insufficient student numbers, Westcol reserves the right to cancel a program or relocate it to another campus.
- We will communicate with you by email, so you must have an active e-mail account.
- To guarantee that you do not miss any communications, you must check your email on a regular basis.
- Original certified copies of all documents must be submitted, and the certification must be no more than 6 months old.
- Please ensure that the papers are scanned in PDF format:
- Proof of residency: grade 12 certificate/statement of results/latest school report/DHET certificate ID document.
