ABOUT TALETSO TVET COLLEGE

Taletso TVET College was formed by the merger of Lehurutshe College of Education, Mafikeng College, and Lichtenburg College. The three campuses are 80 kilometers apart in the Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality of the North West Province, with the Central Office in the same yard as the Mafikeng Campus.

The college is primarily aimed at students from Itsoseng, Bodibe, Lichtenburg, Boikhutso, Biesiesvlei, Sannieshof, Ottosdal, Coligny, Mafikeng, Lehurutshe, Zeerust, and Botswana, but it is also open to students from other areas. They provide cutting-edge work-related courses that equip students to enter the workforce as soon as their studies are completed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY

Make sure you have the following items before applying to Taletso TVET College:

  • You must provide proof that you have paid your registration cost.
  • This course is required of all applicants.
  • Citizens of South Africa must present authenticated copies of their identification documents and birth certificates.
  • Foreign applicants must provide a certified passport or their passport numbers.
  • The applications of those who do not have these goods will be denied.
  • Exam Results:
  • Copies of your grade 11 and 12 results must be included in your application.
  • Applicants who obtained their grade 11 results before taking their grade 12 examinations can still apply.
  • Keep in mind that you’ll need an unmatched email address when applying online or by mail.

Additional Requirements for Admission

  • In order to improve the quality and performance of specialized programs, the College Council has established new admission requirements for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1, and Report 191 N4 using a point system.

Course Requirements for NC(V);

  • Students are allowed to study for a maximum of four years for NC (V) Levels 2, 3, and 4 to account for any topic failures.
  • The minimal entrance requirements are NQF1 (Grade 9) and AET Level 4.
  • The admission requirements have been driven and coordinated by the NC (V) policy.
  • A point system will be utilized to determine qualification admittance.

TALETSO TVET COLLEGE COURSES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Requirements for 191 Courses;

  • The NATED Policy defines entrance requirements.
  • Students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4 will be admitted to N4.
  • On a point system, students who have finished grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 and choose to pursue a profession as an artisan will be admitted to N1.

Requirements for Occupational Courses

  • Minimum admittance requirements based on QCTO/SETA- approved registered Skills Programs/Learnerships.
  • A student who has previously enrolled in NC(V) or Report 191 programs will only be considered for an Occupational Program if they have finished the NC(V) or Report 191 program in its entirety (passed all subjects).
