INTRODUCTION TO TALETSO TVET COLLEGE

Lehurutshe College of Education, Mafikeng College, and Lichtenburg College merged to become Taletso TVET College.
The three campuses are located in the North West Province’s Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality, about 80 kilometers apart, with the Central Office in the same yard as Mafikeng Campus.

Students from Itsoseng, Bodibe, Lichtenburg, Boikhutso, Biesiesvlei, Sannieshof, Ottosdal, Coligny, Mafikeng, Lehurutshe, Zeerust, and Botswana are targeted, but the college is available to students from other locations.
We offer work-related courses that prepare students to enter the labor market immediately after receiving their degrees in National Certificate Vocational (NC (V)) and Report 191 (Nated) Engineering and Business Studies.

This means that when students join in TVET courses, the training and course materials they get will prepare them for a certain vocation and will assist them in improving their skills so that they may succeed in that field.

The Department of Education’s TVET College bursary program assists or plans to assist students who are unable to fund their studies in TVET Colleges for National Vocational Certificate (NCV) programs. Students can apply based on the results of a college-administered means exam. The scholarship application is handled by the college.

PROGRAMS OFFERED AT TALETSO TVET COLLEGE

In applying for the DHET Bursary, a student must meet the following criteria:

Be a South African Citizen
Must be registered for the NC(V) or Report 191 Program at the College
Financially needy
Able to demonstrate potential for academic success

APPLICATION DEADLINE

The online application period for Taletso Tvet College’s 2023-2024 academic year begins on July 1st and concludes on September 25th.

HOW TO APPLY

-Visit the college website to download the application form https://taletso.edu.za
or Acquire your application form at the school’s Campus.
-Indicate or proof of application fee
-Provide all the important documents such as Valid ID, certified Results or certificate
-Provide IDs of parents and/or guardian or death certificate where applicable
-Provide Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
-International students must provide their passport ID at where applicable
-International applicants must produce studying permit during the process
-Postgraduates applicants are suppose to apply online only.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY

The applicant must pay an application fee.
An active email account is required of the candidate (note: applicants who do not have an active email account will not be accepted).
All applicants must be at least 18 years old and show proof of identification.
Documentation such as a valid ID, certified results, or a certificate should be presented.
Check and examine the faculty’s unique requirements before applying.
Foreigners must have a passport and a study permission.
