INTRODUCTION TO TALETSO TVET COLLEGE
Lehurutshe College of Education, Mafikeng College, and Lichtenburg College merged to become Taletso TVET College.
The three campuses are located in the North West Province’s Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality, about 80 kilometers apart, with the Central Office in the same yard as Mafikeng Campus.
Students from Itsoseng, Bodibe, Lichtenburg, Boikhutso, Biesiesvlei, Sannieshof, Ottosdal, Coligny, Mafikeng, Lehurutshe, Zeerust, and Botswana are targeted, but the college is available to students from other locations. They provide innovative work-related courses that prepare students to enter the job market as soon as they complete their studies.

TALETSO TVET COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
NC(V) Course Requirements;
- In order to account for possible topic failures, students are allowed to study for a maximum of four years for NC (V) Levels 2, 3, and 4.
- NQF1 (Grade 9) and AET Level 4 are the minimum entry criteria.
- The NC (V) policy has led and aligned the entry requirements.
For qualification admission, a point system will be used.
Report 191 Courses Requirements;
- The NATED Policy establishes minimum entry standards.
N4 will admit students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4. - Students who have completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 and choose to pursue a career as an artisan will be admitted to N1 on a point system.
Occupational Course Requirements
- Minimum entrance requirements as per registered Skills Program/Learnership approved by QCTO/SETA
- To be eligible to apply for an Occupational Program a student who previously enrolled for NC(V) or Report 191 programs will only be considered if such a student has fully completed the NC(V) or Report 191 program (passed all subjects).
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Before applying to Taletso TVET College, make sure you have the following:
- Proof that you’ve paid your registration fee.
All applicants must take this course. - South African citizens must submit verified copies of their identification documents and birth certificates.
Applicants from other countries must supply a certified passport or their passport numbers.
Applicants who do not have these items will have their applications rejected. - Exam Outcomes:
Your application must include copies of your grade 11 and 12 results.
Applicants who received their grade 11 results before sitting for their grade 12 exams are still eligible to apply. - When applying online or by mail, keep in mind that you’ll need an unmatched email address.
Additional Requirements for Admission
- In order to improve the quality and performance of specialized programs, the College Council has established new admission requirements for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1, and Report 191 N4 using a point system.
