In January 2002, the technical colleges of Russell Road, Bethelsdorp, and Iqhayiya amalgamated to become Port Elizabeth College (PE College). We focus on developing individuals today in order to better prepare them for tomorrow’s difficulties by equipping them with the required practical skills to assist them achieve their goals.
This contributes to our goal of becoming the preferred provider of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs that satisfy the human capital and skills development needs of a dynamic, developing country.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PORT ELIZABETH TVET COLLEGE
- A year-end school report for students in grades 9 and up
- A level 1 NQF qualification
- An approved bridging program created specifically for the purpose of gaining admission to NQF level 2.
- To achieve the minimum requirements for entrance to NQF level 2, a recognition of prior learning assessment is required.
- Only students who completed grade 12 in 2018 or later are eligible to enroll in any of the disciplines offered.
- Statement of Results, Identity Document, Grade 12 (ID).

- Step 1: Go to the school’s campus and get your application form.
To avoid having your application denied, make sure you apply during the application cycle. - Step 2: Complete the form with the essential paperwork (most recent academic results) to support your application.
A certified copy of the guardian’s or parent’s identification, proof of residency, and a student’s certified identification are all required. - Step 3: Keep in mind that you will need an email address to complete the form; therefore, if you do not have one, it is suggested to acquire one. If you don’t have an email address, go here. Also, don’t forget to include a working cell phone number. Careful when filling out the applications because if you are accepted, the school will text you.
- Step 4: As indicated above, a complete application must include a certified copy of your ID and a certified copy of your most recent school results.
