TVET College of Port Elizabeth is a forward-thinking institution with a long and illustrious history.

In January 2002, the Port Elizabeth College (PE College) was formed by the merger of the Russell Road, Bethelsdorp, and Iqhayiya Technical Colleges. We focus on developing individuals today so that they can meet the challenges of future by equipping them with the practical skills they need to achieve their goals and dreams.

This is consistent with our goal of becoming the preferred provider of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programs that address the human capital and skills development demands of a dynamic, developing country.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PORT ELIZABETH TVET COLLEGE COURSES

Admissions Criteria

  • Only students who completed grade 12 in 2018 or later are eligible to enroll in any of the disciplines offered.
  • Statement of Results, Identity Document, Grade 12 (ID).

Entry requirements are as follows:

  • A year-end school report for students in grades 9 and up
  • A level 1 NQF qualification
  • An approved bridging program created specifically for the purpose of gaining admission to NQF level 2.
  • To achieve the minimum requirements for entrance to NQF level 2, a recognition of prior learning assessment is required.
  • Only students who completed grade 12 in 2018 or later are eligible to enroll in any of the disciplines offered.
  • Statement of Results, Identity Document, Grade 12 (ID).
