Three colleges with very different and varied historical backgrounds were combined to create Capricorn College. These included the former Pietersburg Technical College (PTC), the former Northern Province Community College, and Bochum College of Education (NPCC). Since the programs offered directly address the top skill demands of the South African economy, Capricorn Colleges for FET has emerged as many young people’s first choice for further education. The College also provides theoretical and practical instruction. Young people have a variety of exit options to select from.
The mission of Capricorn College is to provide quality, accessible programs that are responsive, flexible, and conducive to learning for all learners through formal education, skill development, and leadership.
This is accomplished by forming partnerships with important parties, utilizing committed human capital, and making use of the proper material and financial resources. Briefly, the following Strategic Goals will be used by Capricorn College for FET to fulfill this mission:

Applications Required Documents

What you’ll need is as follows:

Grades nine or higher, GET certification, ABET level four certification, N1, and a copy certified of the most recent school report or statement of results An evaluation of prior learning (RPL) to satisfy access requirements
three certified copies of the learner’s ID
three certified copies of the parent’s or legal guardian’s ID
a single ID photo
Before submitting an application for the program of their choice, applicants must take a placement test. Every September, students who wish to take the placement test must make a reservation in advance.

WHERE TO APPLY

Get your application form from the Capricorn TVET College campus and submit it there as your first step.

Step 2: Completely fill out your application form and mail it back to the campus. Make sure to include ALL of the requested supporting documentation and to submit your form BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE.

*Keep in mind that you’ll need an email address.

Step 3: Include all supplementary documentation.

The following papers must be attached to your application form and be required reading:

evidence of residence
The ID of the guardian’s parents, certified
most recent academic results
ID issued to students only

Step 4: Obtain financing.

The Capricorn TVET College Bursary Committee will then receive eligible applications for review. Financial need and academic standing will be taken into account when awarding bursaries.
