To access and manage all pertinent information regarding the National student financial aid scheme, students and NSFAS applicants are strongly urged to create MyNSFAS accounts. It is recommended for all applicants to create a Mynsafs account online in order to perform all Nsfas-related actions and gain access to all Nsfas-related information. This is how it works:
How do I sign up for an NSFAS account on the website?
- Select “myNsfas account” from the drop-down menu at www.nsfas.org.za.
Finally, enter your login information and password.
From the menu, select “My personal information.”
Check to see that your email address and phone number are current.
Click “Update your details” to continue.
A One-Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to your new phone number and email address.
To submit, enter the OTP and click the submit button.
Your information will be updated as soon as possible.
You can sign in with your Facebook and Google accounts, as well as your username and password, if you already have an account.
Keep in mind that neither your email address nor your phone number can be shared with anyone else.
If you were one of the applicants for NSFAS 2024 whose application was unsuccessful and you have filed an appeal, you can access your application results (nsfas status) by logging into your myNSFAS account.
