Applicants for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) can log in, view, and manage critical NSFAS information through the MyNsfas website. Before you may use MyNSFAS to access the NSFAS application procedure, you must first create your own account. Visit www.nsfas.org.za to do this. This is NSFAS’s official website. after you’ve accessed the website. The Nsfas Application will be open from August 18 to September 3, 2024. Please follow the instructions below to create an account and submit your application on time to avoid rejection.

Required Supporting Documents To Create NSFAS Account.

To complete your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for 2024 and 2025, you will need the following information:

You are required to have your own email address and phone number.
You must provide a copy of your ID or birth certificate.
You should also give copies of the identification cards of your parents, guardians, or spouse.
One year’s worth of IRP5 or, if applicable, proof of income. Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse is not required for SASSA grant recipients.
A completed and signed Disability Annexure must be submitted by all disabled applicants. A Document A Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form must also be submitted by all applicants who have been identified as vulnerable children by the Department of Social Development.

How To Create My NSFAS Account?

After going to the website at www.nsfas.org.za, select My NSFAS account.
Select “Register.”
Mark the box that grants NSFAS permission to verify the information you provide.
Enter the ID number that appears on your document.
Please enter your full names, including your surname, exactly as they appear on the ID you provided.
Add your email address here.
To confirm it, enter your email address once more.
Enter your mobile number.
Enter the password that you prefer.
To confirm it, enter your preferred password once more.
Send us a copy of your ID.
Select “Register.”
Wait for the OTP sent to your email address and phone number. You need to use this OTP right away because it will expire in 24 hours.
After entering the OTP, select “Submit.”

After completing all of these procedures, you should be ready to go. Each time you need to log in, simply enter your right username and password into the appropriate boxes.

How to Apply for NSFAS Online Application

Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
Create a myNSFAS account.
Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
Update your personal information
Answer the questions you see on the screen
Include all of the necessary supporting documents.
Finally, you click on ‘submit
