ABOUT NORTHERN CAPE URBAN TVET COLLEGE

Umalusi has accredited the Northern Cape Urban TVET College as a Service Provider.
The College’s Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001:2008.

The Northern Cape Urban TVET College is an approved college that aims to improve academic performance and student success by providing high-quality teaching and learning opportunities.

The college’s aim is to be a relevant and responsive provider of Technical and Vocational Education and Training by forming and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders and training employees to meet the needs of the institution.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY

VOCATIONAL NATIONAL CERTIFICATE – NC (V)

To be admitted into one of the following NC (V) programs, you must have the following qualifications:

Society’s Safety:

  • Grade 12 must be completed or you must retake it.

Administration of the Office:

  • 12th, 11th, 10th, or 9th grade

Tourism:

  • 12th, 11th, 10th, or 9th grade

Accounting, Finance, and Economics:

  • Accounting 12th, 11th, 10th, or 9th grade

Building Construction & Civil Engineering:

  • Minimum Grade 12 pass rate or math retake rate

Construction of Electrical Infrastructure:

  • Minimum Grade 12 pass rate or math retake rate

Engineering & Related Design is a broad term that encompasses a wide range

  • Minimum of Grade 12 passed or repeating Mathematics

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION

  • The online application period for the Northern Cape Urban Tvet College 2023-2024 academic year begins on July 1st and concludes on September 25th.
