ABOUT NORTHERN CAPE RURAL TVET COLLEGE
Northern Cape Rural TVET College is a rural TVET college in Northern Cape. NCR TVET College in the Northern Cape invites you to study Certificate and Diploma courses in Business and Engineering, among other subjects. Completing any of these qualifications could lead to employment in your chosen area or university-level studies.

They also offer student counseling, career possibilities, and bursary services. Students at all 25 of our public universities, as well as the 50 public TVET institutes, can apply for loans and various NSFAS bursaries through the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

NORTHERN CAPE RURAL TVET COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.
NC(V) Course Requirements;
- In order to account for possible topic failures, students are allowed to study for a maximum of four years for NC (V) Levels 2, 3, and 4.
- NQF1 (Grade 9) and AET Level 4 are the minimum entrance requirements.
- The NC (V) policy has guided and aligned the entry requirements.
For qualification entry, a point system will be used.
Report 191 Courses Requirements;
- The NATED Policy establishes minimum entrance requirements.
N4 will admit students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4. - Students who have passed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 who want to pursue an artisan career will be admitted to N1 based on a point system.
Occupational Course Requirements
- Minimum entrance requirements as per registered Skills Program/Learnership approved by QCTO/SETA
- To be eligible to apply for an Occupational Program a student who previously enrolled for NC(V) or Report 191 programs will only be considered if such a student has fully completed the NC(V) or Report 191 program (passed all subjects).
Additional Requirements for Admission
- The College Council has determined additional entry requirements by means of a point system for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1 and Report 191 N4 in an effort to improve the quality and performance of specialized programs.
