ABOUT NKANGALA TVET COLLEGE

Nkangala TVET College courses 2023-2024

In 2003, the Nkangala region’s Witbank, Middelburg, Mpondozankomo, and CN Mahlangu campuses (formerly Technical Colleges) combined to become Nkangalca TVET College. In 2011, Ehlanzen FET College was relocated to Waterval boven Campus.

In 1996, Parliament passed the FET Act, which formed the college.
The College is the province’s largest educational institution, serving the village of Nkangala in Mpumalanga. CN Mahlangu and Waterval Boven are dominated by rural areas. The majority of the pupils come from Witbank and Middelburg, the region’s most densely populated areas. The remaining students come from the erstwhile rural villages of Kwa-Ndebele and Waterval boven. NC(V) programs enrolled 719 NC(V) students and 11,917 Nated 191 students in 2007. More than 95% of our students originate from outside of the United States.

The College offers eight NC(V) programs: Civil Engineering and Building Construction, Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Engineering and Related Design, Finance, Economics and Accounting, Hospitality, Tourism, Information Technology and Computer Sciences, and Office Administration.

Nated (191) programs are still broadcasting, and we have a total of seven courses. All program content is developed and recognized by the Department of Higher Education and Training.
