Do you want to learn how to re-register your MyNSFAS Account if you are a Tvet college or university student in South Africa? You have arrived at the right place. You must register or re-register your MyNSFAS Account in order to access your funding progress through it. Please follow the detailed instructions for re-registering your NSFAS Account.
Documents Needed When Creating Nsfas Account
- Provide your own phone number and email address. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate, as well as copies of your parents, guardians, or spouse’s National ID. You must also have proof of your income, or, if necessary, one year’s IRP5.
You are not required to provide any evidence of income if you are the recipient of a SASSA grant.
A completed and signed Disability Annexure A form must be submitted by all applicants with disabilities. Additionally, applicants who are considered vulnerable children by the Department of Social Development must submit a Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
How To Re-register MyNSFAS Account
- Go to www.nsfas.org.za
- Click MyNSFAS tab
- Click Register
- Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details
- As shown on your ID document, enter your ID number.
- Enter your full name exactly as it appears on your ID.
- Enter your email address
- Enter your cellphone number
- Create password
- Confirm password
- Upload a copy of your ID
- Click Register
- An OTP will be sent to your email address and cell phone number (the OTP lasts for 24 hours).
- Enter the OTP and click submit
- You have completed your MyNSFAS re-registration
