Before receiving approval for NSFAS to fund their university or TVET college education, applicants for NSFAS funding must upload all required supporting documents. The majority of students who attempt to apply for funding through the National Student Financial Aid Scheme typically experience difficulties uploading their supporting documents to NSFAS. We will walk you through the process of uploading your supporting documents to NSFAS for approval of your funding application in this article.

To upload your documents to NSFAS, follow the below-mentioned procedure step-by-step.

  • Go to www.nsfas.org.za
  • Log into your MyNSFAS Account

  • A window will appear on your computer screen (Select the documents files)
  • Click on “Submit Documents”
  • The message that appears on your screen will read, “Outstanding Documents have been Successfully Uploaded.”

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Provide your own phone number and email address. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate, as well as copies of your parents, guardians, or spouse’s National ID. You must also have proof of your income, or, if necessary, one year’s IRP5.
