Application forms for Motheo TVET College will be available from April to November 2023.

MOTHEO TVET COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

You must meet the specified general admission requirements for your selected qualification in order to be admitted to Motheo TVET College. If you don’t fulfill these requirements, you might wish to look into alternative qualifications or, if you qualify, an extended program (according to the college admission requirements), which allows you to register for a restricted number of modules in your first year.

Requirements for entry into the NVC at NQF Level 2,

A year-end report for Grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 or an
An NQF Level 1 qualification, or
An approved bridging program designed for the specific purpose of accessing NQF Level 2, or
A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2.

Full Time Rated Courses
Application fee (new students only) and class fees are payable on registration. All new applications must be accompanied by:

Certified copy of latest school report/statement of results/Grade 12 or N3 certificate.
Six certified copies of the ID of the Learner.
Two certified copies of ID of Parent/Guardian.
One ID size photo of Learner.

National Certificate (Vocational) NQF Levels 2 – 4

Requirements:
• NC(V) LQF Level 2: Gr 9 or 12

Students will also have to write an entrance test (CAP test).

For post Grade 12 programs, applicants must have passed Grade 12/N3/NQF Level 4 or its equivalent. Registration documents
During registration the following documents must be available:

a certified copy of the latest school results
a certified copy of the Identity Document
a necessary registration fee
proof of residence

Foreign Students

a certified copy of the latest school qualification
a valid study permit until the end of the relevant study period
foreign student registration fee
