INTRODUCTION TO MALUTI TVET COLLEGE
Maluti TVET College is a Technical Vocational Education and Training institution that was established on September 1st, 2002 under the Department of Higher Education and Training’s umbrella.
The former Colleges of Education (Bonamelo, Sefikeng) and Technical Colleges (Itemoheleng, Bethlehem, Kwetlisong, and Lere la Tshepe) were merged into one Maluti Technical Vocational Education and Training College by a Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for the Free State Department of Education (FSDoE). At the college, there are eight (8) camps to choose from.
MALUTI TVET COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
There are various conditions that must be satisfied before applying to any Maluti TVET College campus to study or get a skilled trade.
- You should have a certificate from grade nine.
- Applicants under the age of sixteen will be disqualified.
- It’s worth noting that more advanced courses may necessitate higher certifications:
- Engineering and higher-level studies, for example, necessitate a greater degree of education.
- Most TVET universities need you to take an admissions exam as part of the application process.
This allows the college to measure each student’s numeracy and literacy abilities. - The applicant may be required to go through an interview procedure in order to be considered.
