King Hintsa TVET College has opened its doors to any ambitious students interested in enrolling next year.The college is one of 50 public Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges in the Eastern Cape Province.
They offer a variety of degrees, including Management Assistant, Business Management, Human Resources Management, Financial Management, Engineering Related Design Civil Engineering, and Chemical Engineering, to name a few.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- To complete the application, you’ll need an email address.
- An ID number is required for South African applicants.
A foreign applicant’s passport number is required. - You must pay the application fee after receiving your student number from King Hintsa TVET College.
- Make sure your documents are scanned according to the guidelines.
- Your admission to King Hintsa TVET College is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification.
- If you don’t fulfill these prerequisites, you might wish to look into other credentials or, if you do, an extended program that allows you to enrol for limited modules in your first year if you qualify.
- The ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) School of Tomorrow may no longer accept students who finished Grade 12 there.
KING HINTSA TVET COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
NC(V) Course Requirements; NC(V) Course Requirements; NC(V) Course Requirements; NC
- In order to account for possible topic failures, students are allowed to study for a maximum of four years for NC (V) Levels 2, 3, and 4.
- NQF1 (Grade 9) and AET Level 4 are the minimum entry criteria.
- The NC (V) policy has led and aligned the entry requirements.
For qualification admission, a point system will be used.
Report 191 Courses Requirements;
- The NATED Policy establishes minimum entry standards.
N4 will admit students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4. - Students who have completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 and choose to pursue a career as an artisan will be admitted to N1 on a point system.
Occupational Course Requirements;
- Minimum admittance requirements based on QCTO/SETA-approved registered Skills Programs/Learnerships.
- A student who has previously enrolled for NC(V) or Report 191 progress will only be considered for an Occupational Program if the NC(V) or Report 191 program has been fully completed (passed all subjects).
Additional Requirements for Admission
- In order to improve the quality and performance of specialized programs, the College Council has established new admission requirements for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1, and Report 191 N4 using a point system.
