ABOUT KING HINTSA TVET COLLEGE
King Hintsa TVET College is a provider of Technical Vocational Education and Training in the Eastern Cape in South Africa’s South Eastern Region.
Centane Technical College, Teko Technical College, H.B. Tsengwa Technical College, and Idutywa Community College were merged to establish the College.
The College is a ground-breaking school distinguished for academic and technological excellence that responds to the community’s and country’s social and economic demands.
King Hintsa TVET College has five sites with welcoming learning settings.
Students can get financial aid from the Department of Higher Education and Training through bursaries provided by the NSFAS.
Bursaries pay for tuition, housing, registration, and other expenses such as transportation and meals.
Students in need of financial assistance, both returning and prospective, are encouraged to apply for these bursaries.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY
Before beginning the application process, students interested in studying at the College must have the following documentation on hand.
- Certified copy of id/birth certificate or passport.
- Latest of senior certificate or equivalent.
- Copy of certified Parent/Guardian’s ID
Foreign Students :
- Certified copies of passport
- Study permit
- Evaluation certificate from SAQA
REQUIREMENT DETAILS
- Certified copy of an identity document it could be either a birth certificate or passport.
- Certified copy of grade 12
- An original academic certificate from your previous senior high school.
NCV: A certified copy of grade 9
- A certified copy of an Identity Document that is birth certificate
- A certified copies of parent’s Identity Document or Guardian, where applicable.
International students:
- Learners must have certified copies of their passport
- A study permit and evaluation certificate from SAQA (were necessary).
Fees as per policy of the institution in collaboration with DHET.
