To be eligible to apply for the funding provided by Nsfas, applicants must ensure that they register on Mynsfas. You are able to apply for NSFAS Funds and other government services once you are registered with NSFAS. You must meet and provide all of the required documents that will be requested of you during the NSFAS funding registration process in order to successfully register your funding. If you do not meet the requirements that will make you eligible for the funding, your application will be rejected. To register their accounts online, applicants can follow the steps listed below.
Documents Needed During My Nsfas Registration Process
- Provide your own phone number and email address. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate, as well as copies of your parents, guardians, or spouse’s National ID. You must also have proof of your income, or, if necessary, one year’s IRP5.
You are not required to provide any evidence of income if you are the recipient of a SASSA grant.
A completed and signed Disability Annexure A form must be submitted by all applicants with disabilities. A Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form must also be submitted by applicants designated by the Department of Social Development.
How To Register On Mynsfas
- Visit www.nsfas.org.za login.
- Click the myNSFAS tab.
- Click register.
- To permit NSFAS to verify your information, tick the box.
- After that, copy the ID number that appears on your ID document.
- Using your ID number, enter your full name and surname.
- Type in your current email address.
- Confirm your email address.
- Type in your cellphone number.
- Create a password.
- Confirm password.
- Upload ID Copy.
- Click register.
- An OTP will be sent to the email address and cell phone number you provided (this OTP lasts for 24 hours).
- Type in the OTP and click Submit.
- You have now completed your NSFAS account re-registration.
How To Login To My NSFAS Account After Registering
To check your status online, you will need your password and MyNSFAS email address. Open your web browser now on your computer or smartphone that is connected to the internet.
- Step 1: Visit the MyNSFAS student portal via-www nsfas.org.za
- Step 2: Enter your email address and password in the space provided next.
- Step 3: Finally, to view your application status, click the Sign-In button.
