Goldfields TVET College strives to produce students who are prepared to learn for the rest of their lives.
On their campuses, they offer a diverse selection of courses as well as learnerships. In Welkom, Free State, the Goldfields TVET College comprises four campuses. On all of their campuses, all of their students have access to student aid programs.
All students should apply for one of the numerous bursaries that are offered. Bursaries help low-income households by providing financial aid. This will help students to concentrate on their studies rather than their finances.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR GOLDFIELDS TVET COLLEGE COURSES
In order to account for possible topic failures, students are allowed to study for a maximum of four years for NC (V) Levels 2, 3, and 4.
- NQF1 (Grade 9) and AET Level 4 are the minimum entry criteria.
- The NC (V) policy has led and aligned the entry requirements.
For qualification admission, a point system will be used.
Requirements for 191 Courses;
- The NATED Policy defines entrance requirements.
Students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4 will be admitted to N4. - On a point system, students who have finished grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 and choose to pursue a profession as an artisan will be admitted to N1.
Occupational Course Requirements;
- Minimum admittance requirements based on QCTO/SETA- approved registered Skills Programs/Learnerships.
- A student who has previously enrolled in NC(V) or Report 191 programs will only be considered for an Occupational Program if they have finished the NC(V) or Report 191 program in its entirety (passed all subjects).

Additional Requirements for Admission
- In order to improve the quality and performance of specialized programs, the College Council has established new admission requirements for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1, and Report 191 N4 using a point system.
The education and training offered here is targeted to the needs of students and industry, and the jobs emphasized are vital to South Africa’s economic development.
Applications for 2022 are already open, and applicants are advised to submit their applications as soon as possible, as all programs’ applications will conclude on October 30.
Applicants will be required to undergo a mandatory screening before applying, which will recommend a course for them to take.
Applicants must sign a statement stating that they want to make their own decisions outside of the placement screening report.
This report can be viewed and saved by the applicant.

- After you’ve signed up, select “First time here?” from the drop-down menu.
Then you’ll be able to complete anything in the “Pre-Entry Information” folder on your own. - Applicants must answer all of the screening questions in the packet, even if they don’t know the answers.
- Click the “Finish” button at the end of each assessment.
- Applicants should write down and save their username and password while completing the Placement Screening Registration.
