INTRODUCTION TO GERT SIBANDE TVET COLLEGE

Gert Sibande TVET College was founded in 2002 as a result of the merger of Ermelo, Evander, and Standerton Technical Colleges.
Since then, it has grown to include campuses in Balfour, Ermelo, Evander, Glenmore, Perdekop, and Standerton.
The College now provides both NATED and National Certificate Vocational (NCV) programs, with individual campuses offering a varying combination of the two.
Gert Sibande TVET College also has a Skills Academy and a Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubation, and it aspires to be a top college brand in South Africa as a result of all of this.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

A school year-end report for the certificate Gr 11 or Gr 12;
A qualification of NQF Level 1;
An approved bridging program designed to access NQF level 2 for special purposes;
Prior Learning Recognition (PLR) evaluation to satisfy basic requirements for NQF Level 2 access.Only in exceptional cases are 10 considered.
