Sasolburg Technical College, Kroonstad Technical College, and Mphohadi College of Education merged to form Flavius Mareka TVET College, which was established in 2000. The college was named in honor of Mr. Flavius Mareka, a prominent figure in political, cultural, and academic circles. He passed away in 1965 and was born in Kroonstad.
There are three campuses for Flavius Mareka TVET College. Two locations on the Sasolburg campus are dedicated to offering courses in engineering studies and business studies, respectively. The Kroonstad neighborhood is home to the Mphohadi campus and the other two campuses.
The three campuses of Flavius Mareka TVET College not only provide formal full-time and part-time programs, but they are also proud of the fact that they bring instruction and training to local communities.
