The FET Colleges Act No. 16 of 2006, as amended, governs Ekurhuleni West Technical, Vocational, Education and Training College (EWC), a public institution. The Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Education (Gauteng Province) issued a Provincial Gazette Extraordinary declaring it to be in accordance with the Further Education and Training Act, Act No. 98 of 1998. (dated 7 December 2001).

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality in the South African province of Gauteng is home to the Ekurhuleni West TVET College. The following six (6) campuses make up EWC, which operates in broadband and diverse communities:

Alberton
Boksburg
Germiston
Kathorus, (in Katlehong/ Vosloorus/ Thokoza)
Kempton (in Kempton Park)
Tembisa.

On September 1st, 2023, the Ekurhuleni West TVET College online application for the 2023–2024 academic year opens, and it concludes on November 30th, 2023.

Here are the general admission requirements for Ekurhuleni West TVET College.

To complete the application, you must have an email address.
An ID number is required for South African candidates. The passport numbers of foreign candidates are required.
You must pay the application cost after receiving your student number from EWC College.
Verify that your documents are scanned in accordance with the instructions.
You must fulfill the exact entrance requirements for the qualification you have chosen in order to be admitted to EWC College.
If you don’t satisfy these criteria, you might wish to think about alternate credentials or, if you’re eligible, an extended program that would allow you to enroll in only a few modules in your first year.
It’s possible that EWC College will no longer admit students who finished Grade 12 at the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) School of Tomorrow.
Limited spots are available for several EWC College programs. It is not a given that you will be given a spot for the 2023 academic year even if you fulfill the general and/or particular admission requirements for a qualification.
