INTRODUCTIONS TO EKURHULENI WEST TVET COLLEGE.

The FET Colleges Act No. 16 of 2006, as amended, governs the Ekurhuleni West Technical, Vocational, Education and Training College (EWC).

It was established under the Further Education and Training Act, Act No. 98 of 1998, which was declared as such in a Provincial Gazette Extraordinary by the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Education (Gauteng Province) (dated 7 December 2001).
The Ekurhuleni West TVET College is located in the Gauteng Province of South Africa, in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
Alberton, Boksburg, Germiston, Kathorus (near Katlehong/ Vosloorus/ Thokoza), Kempton (in Kempton Park), and Tembisa are among EWC’s six (6) campuses, which serve a wide range of populations.
The name “Ekurhuleni” is derived from the geographical and municipal areas in which it is located. (the Southern Service Delivery Regions [SDR]), which includes Germiston (as regional centre), Alberton, areas of Boksburg, Katlehong, Thokoza, Vosloorus, and sections of Freeway Park, and the Northern Service Delivery Region [SDR], which includes Kempton Park (as regional centre), Tembisa, Edenvale, including Bedfordview and Primrose, where the College is located.

Click the online application link for new students if you are a new student or returning students if you are currently in possession of EWC student number.
Follow the instructions from there and fill in the required fields

You will also need to submit certified copies of the following documents:

Highest grade passed
ID
Proof of residence

If your application has “Outstanding Documents” at any point, or if you supplied documents that are not clear, cut off, or not certified, you must upload the updated documents or your application will be marked as Incomplete, reducing your chances of being accepted.
