Ehlanzeni TVET College is a Technical Vocational Education and Training provider in the Ehlanzeni region of the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. The mission of the college is to provide a welcoming learning environment in which students can gain the necessary information, relevant practical abilities, applied vocational and occupational skills, and positive character traits to meet the nation’s human resource, economic, and development demands. The college has six campuses: Barberton Campus, KaNyamazane Campus, Mapulaneng Campus, Mashishing Campus, Mlumati Campus, Mthimba Campus, and Nelspruit Campus.

Ehlanzeni College assists students who meet the criteria in applying for NSFAS bursaries by assisting them through the process. All South African citizens are eligible to apply for these bursaries.

Before applying to the College, you need have the following items:

  • Payment of the registration fee must be documented.
  • This is a requirement for all students applying to the program.
  • A certified copy of your identification (needed for South African citizens) and your passport (foreign students).
  • These items are essential for the processing of your application.
  • Exam Results:
  • Original/certified copies of the most current academic results must be presented.
  • You must provide a unique email address whether you apply online or in person.


Course Requirements for NC(V);

  • Students are allowed to study for a maximum of four years for NC (V) Levels 2, 3, and 4 to account for any topic failures.
  • The minimal entrance requirements are NQF1 (Grade 9) and AET Level 4.
  • The admission requirements have been driven and coordinated by the NC (V) policy.
  • A point system will be utilized to determine qualification admittance.

Requirements for 191 Courses;

  • The NATED Policy defines entrance requirements.
  • Students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4 will be admitted to N4.
  • On a point system, students who have finished grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 and choose to pursue a profession as an artisan will be admitted to N1.

Requirements for Occupational Courses;

  • Minimum admissions requirements based on registered Skills Programs/Learnerships with the QCTO/SETA.
  • Students who have previously participated in NC(V) or Report 191 programs will only be accepted for an Occupational Program if they have completed the whole NC(V) or Report 191 program (passed all subjects).

Additional Admissions Requirements

  • In order to improve the quality and performance of specialized programs, the College Council has established new admission requirements for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1, and Report 191 N4 using a point system.
