ABOUT EASTCAPE MIDLANDS TVET COLLEGE.

The Eastcape Midlands TVET College (EMC) in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa, continues to play an essential role in the development of its students’ abilities and lives in the Eastern Cape province.
EMC serves a largely industrialized urban area, as well as the province’s rural western section, as part of the Nelson Mandela Metropole.

This means the college will face unique challenges in meeting the needs of a developed and advanced industrial economy on the one hand, and a widespread rural area with high unemployment and poverty on the other, which will be exacerbated by the Eastern Cape’s primary and secondary education systems in rural and underprivileged communities.
Year after year, EMC has increased the amount of students passing their tests, and in recent years, it has produced the top ten students in the country.
In 2017, the institution received a 73 percent pass rate and 874 distinctions on the National Certificate (Vocational) tests, with a 49 percent pass rate for Engineering and a 66 percent pass rate for Business, both Report 191 programs Online.

HOW TO APPLY

Enrolling at Eastcape Midlands College is a simple and straightforward process.
Prospective students who desire to advance their professions might do so by following these simple steps:

Fill out an application form online or at any of our campuses.

Make an appointment at your local campus or the Career Development Center for an assessment.
The PACE test will be used to evaluate your numeracy and literacy abilities.

You will be scheduled for a personal interview after the examination.
