Students must create a MyNSFAS Account in order to apply for NSFAS. In order for you to have complete control over, access to, and management of your MyNSFAS account, we will demonstrate in this article how to create one. Documents Needed When Creating Nsfas Account
- Give us your phone number and email address.
A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required.
Copies of parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s national identification
If necessary, proof of income or one year’s IRP5
Your parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s proof of income.
If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you are not required to provide any proof of income.
All Applicants with disabilities must provide and submit a signed Disability Annexure A Form.
An applicant identified by the Department of Social Development as a Vulnerable Child must also submit a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
How To Create a New Nsfas Account
- Visit www.nsfas.org.za login.
- Click the myNSFAS tab.
- Click register.
- Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details.
- After that, copy the ID number that appears on your ID document.
- Enter your full name and surname as they appear on your ID card.
- Type in your current email address.
- Confirm your email address.
- Type in your cellphone number.
- Create a password.
- Confirm password.
- Upload ID Copy.
- Click register.
- An OTP will be sent to the email address and cell phone number you provided (this OTP lasts for 24 hours).
- Type in the OTP and click Submit.
- Your NSFAS account re-registration is now complete.
How To Check Your MyNSFAS Account Status
To check your status online, you will need your password and MyNSFAS email address. Open your web browser now on your computer or smartphone that is connected to the internet.
- Step 1: Visit the MyNSFAS student portal via-www nsfas.org.za
- Step 2: Next, Enter your Email and Password in the field provided.
- Step 3: Finally, to view your application status, click the Sign-In button.
