INTRODUCTION TO COASTAL TVET COLLEGE REGISTRATION

Coastal TVET College is one of South Africa’s 50 public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, which are overseen by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The College is one of the country’s largest suppliers of Technical and Vocational Education and Training services, focusing on priority skill development.

The previous Durban Technical College, Swinton Road Technical College, and Umlazi Technical College have merged to become this college. Former Umbumbulu and Appelsbosch Colleges of Education are included. It is KwaZulu-largest Natal’s college, with an average of roughly 15 000 full-time equivalents and 800 staff members.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR COASTAL TVET COLLEGE REGISTRATION

Before applying for admission to the college, applicants must have the following items:

• Copy of birth certificate or certified copy of identity documents (for SA citizens)
• Passport Number or Certified Copy of Passport (international students only).
• The most recent academic achievements.
  It is preferable to be in grades 11 and 12.
• A distinct email address as well as a phone number are required.

Steps to completing your second semester registration form (manual or online) at Coastal TVET College;

• Step 1: Decide on a qualification and any additional prerequisites.
• Step 2: Gather your documents or upload any missing or incomplete documents.
• Step three is to obtain an application form.
• Fill out your application completely (manual and online)
• The application cost must be paid (If applicable)
• Please submit your completed form as well as any supporting papers (manual applications only)

• Step 5: Follow up and find out if you’ve been accepted.
