As a public technical and vocational education and training institution, Thekwini TVET College works to fulfill its purpose for skills development through excellent teaching and learning and efficient corporate governance. Our vision, mission, and values serve as our compass, enabling us to accomplish our operational goals, which are in line with DHET’s strategic objectives.
According to the provisions of Section 10(2)(a) of the Continuing Education and Training Act, No. 16 of 2006 as amended, Thekwini TVET College submits its five-year strategic plan to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology for approval. The National Development Plan (NDP), its implementation plan, the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) Plan, and all other pertinent regulatory requirements provided guidance for the creation of the strategic plan.

The creation of the strategic plan takes into account both the vision of the sixth democratically elected government to serve the people of South Africa and the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution.
According to the Department’s strategic documents, Thekwini TVET College works to promote the accomplishment of the following two sub-goals, among other strategic outcomes and national targets: Increased access to and success in programs that lead to intermediate and high-level learning is a sub-outcome of outcome 2, while expanding the availability of intermediate-level skills with a focus on artisan skills and entrepreneurship is a sub-outcome of outcome 4.

Step 2: Completely fill out your application form. Hand delivers the application to the campus where you want to enroll.

Step 3: Include all supplementary documentation.

The following paperwork must be included with your application form in order to be considered:

certified copy of a parent or guardian’s ID
certified copy of the most recent school grades
