INTRODUCTION TO BOLAND TVET COLLEGE

Boland College is a rural college having campuses in Caledon, Paarl, Stellenbosch, Strand, and Worcester, as well as a head office in Stellenbosch.
Before the merger, four of these campuses were separate, competing colleges, each with a long and proud history of high-quality education and results, as well as some autonomy.
The process of merging the campuses was finished in 2001, and a fifth site in Caledon opened in January 2002.
All of these campuses have outstanding facilities.

Strand Campus first offered evening classes in 1963, and full-time programs have been available since 1983.
In 1995, new campus structures were constructed.
Paarl Campus began as an evening school in 1968 and transitioned to a Technical Institute in 1979.
Worcester Campus began as a Technical Institute in 1970, and in 1998, it joined with Söhnge Teachers’ College to establish Worcester Community College. The Boland region, which encompasses a large rural area, is served by the College. According to provincial demographics, the Western Cape has a relatively young population, with 65 percent of residents under the age of 35.

Boland College’s desire to address education and training options has been influenced by a number of causes.
These possibilities are also available. The ideology of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training law encapsulates this.
Boland College’s aim is to be the Boland Region’s devoted, creative, and innovative leaders in Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
